Here we go

I thought I would take a few moments of your time and let you get to know me better. I am a wife, a mother of one son, 3 dogs, 2 cats and way to many race horses to worry about. I don't have much free time these days but what free time i have is spent in my soap room. Now I realize just how much that angers my husband, not just because what little time I have is spent down in my basement/lab/studio/shop but because this was also him bar and playroom. I am trying to find a good place to set up shop on a temporary basis, but I have to tell you that I am not even sure where to start. I don't know anyone with extra space and even if I did I am not so sure that they would want me hanging out until the wee hours of the morning. So now what do I do???

Soap soap soap

So a dear friend gives me some soap for christmas. I was so excited to try it and then the unthinkable. I was so dry after that a gallon of lotion wasn't helping. That gave me the insperation to make a moisturizing bath soap for our extreme climate. I spent the first week reading up on how to make soap, decided that with two dogs and two cats I would stick to the melt and pour type. Lye and new german shepard puppy didn't seem like a good plan.
